The Conventuals are spread all over the world to testify for the truth and work in various fields and with different tasks. Even the Maltese friars contribute to this presence in the one big convent - the world. These friars are proud to be present in various countries while contributing to the cultural and religious growth of themselves and of other people.

 

Fr. Albert Sammut (b. 1933) lives at the Vatican (SCV) and is a confessor at St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican. The "Collegio dei Padri Penitenzieri Vaticani" is served by the Conventual Franciscans and the Maltese Province has long contributed by sending friars to give that pastoral assistance to pilgrims coming from all over the world. Fr. Albert hears confessions in English, Italian and Maltese.

Fr. Anton Zahra (b. 1928) lives in Australia (Kellyville)
 
Fr. Maximilian Mizzi (b. 1930) lives in Italy (Assisi)
 
Fr. Paschal Magro (b. 1938) lives in Italy (Assisi) and is director of the Museum of the Sacro Convento and the librarian of the Fondo Antico del Sacro Convento.
 
Fr. Alfons Sammut (b. 1929) lives in Turkey (Izmir)
 
Brs. Josef Pace & Etienne Gilson  live in Italy (Assisi) and are doing their theological studies.
 
Brs. Andrew Galea , Colin Sammut & Stephen Borg live in Italy (Roma) and are doing their theological studies.
 
Brs. Christian Borg & Joseph Formosa lives in Italy (Padova) and is doing his novitiate year at the Convento Basilica del Santo
