Maltese Friars in the world

The Conventuals are spread all over the world to testify for the truth and work in various fields and with different tasks. Even the Maltese friars contribute to this presence in the one big convent - the world. These friars are proud to be present in various countries while contributing to the cultural and religious growth of themselves and of other people.

Fr. Albert Sammut (b. 1933) lives at the Vatican (SCV) and is a confessor at St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican. The "Collegio dei Padri Penitenzieri Vaticani" is served by the Conventual Franciscans and the Maltese Province has long contributed by sending friars to give that pastoral assistance to pilgrims coming from all over the world. Fr. Albert hears confessions in English, Italian and Maltese.

Fr. Manuel Gatt (b. 1944) lives in Australia (Warrawong).

Fr. Anton Zahra (b. 1928) lives in Australia (Kellyville).

Fr. Charles Baldacchino live in Assisi.

Fr. Jesus Mary Pawley live in England.

Brs. Josef Pace , Christian Borg & Joseph Formosa live in Italy (Assisi) and are doing their theological studies.

Brs. Andrew Galea & Colin Sammut live in Italy (Roma) and are doing their theological studies.

Br. Stephen Borg live in Padova and he is doing his theological studies.
